The Chestnuts have been around since 2003. Tom Breneisen (a founding member) has about 50+ years of performing under his belt, Jim Folker about 60+ years, and Jack Brunner about 30+ years. They cover many genres (classics in country, folk, soft rock, pop, oldies, easy listening, R&B and more). The Chestnuts take pride in quality sound and maintaining a conversational volume. They also encourage requests and singing along.

Redeemed by Grace  is a local acoustic guitar group originally started to serve Jesus and community and to give glory to God and our Lord through music. I'm Brandan Smestad - aka Smest.  Smest is a throw back to my high school nickname.  I try to channel the excitement and energy from those years when performing.

I began playing music in college but didn't get serious until 2025 which is when I started playing professionally.  My music selection is diverse - I've been influenced mostly by where mood and life circumstances have taken me.  My favorite genres include pop, rock and country from most time periods, however I mostly focus on the 90's through today.
